I thought it would be useful to report why I added these links to my blogroll.
As you can see, they are few. I don’t intend to have an enormous list of blogs, just to say that I am “in tune” with the blogosphere. No. Not me. These blogs I really read, every day. They are from people I respect and learned to admire. So they mean something to me.
They appear in alphabetical order, by WordPress default, and I think that’s better.
They are:
I. 0 To IPO in 7 Years – A blog from George Parkanyi, a.k.a. “Allocator” – Who has a new allocation/investment methodology named REAP. The unusual thing is that the methodology is open and available to all who would like to study it, right there in his blog. Talk about a guy with no fear of front-running!
II. Daily Speculations – A website by Victor Niederhoffer and Laurel Kenner – Dr. Niederhoffer is one of the most influential traders of all time: hedge fund strategist and chief-trader, best-seller author (“Education Of A Speculator” and “Practical Speculations”), squash champion, economist from Harvard, Ph.D, the list goes on and on. All his work is a must-read. Laurel Kenner is a journalist, former Bloomberg’s American Stock Market Chief-Editor, who pursues the truth about the markets wherever it is.
III. Globetrader – Cris is a futures and forex trader with good ideas on how to simplify trading activity. Real trades discussed in his blog.
IV. Larry Williams University – Actually, this is the link of “Larry TV”, a video series by Larry Williams in his website, ireallytrade.com. Larry is a market veteran with 40+ years of experience – need to say more? Check his results!
V.Master Of The Universe – Blog from Jeff – I first read about him in Daily Speculations – Jeff is a former pit trader, and trades futures, stocks, indexes, grains, whatever moves. Also a veteran surfer and lodge brother.’. His posts are full of insights and personal notes also. Great reading.
VI. Quantitative Trading – Blog from Ernest Chan – Ernest is a Quantitative Trader and Consultant who has a great deal of experience in modeling data and developing trading and risk strategies. His new book is a must-read.
VII. TraderFeed – A great blog from Dr. Brett Steenbarger – Dr. Brett is a Psychologist and author (Author of The Psychology of Trading (Wiley, 2003) and Enhancing Trader Performance (Wiley, 2006)) who really does what he preaches: he trades. If you are tired of mumbo-jumbo from psychologist who don’t trade, and want to have real advice on trading psychology, his blog is the place to be.
That’s it, I desire you have a great reading.
Regards,
Newton Linchen.
